Here at Rooted Sound and Yoga we believe in living in connection to nature: taking time to care for our mind body and soul, to grow a life of joy and community.
Through therapeutic sound and yoga we bring people together to celebrate our connection to each other, community and to our natural being.
Samhain Yoga and Sound Bath
As the wheel of the year turns and the nights grow longer, step into the magic of Samhain, the ancient Celtic festival which invites us to pause, reflect and honour both endings and new beginnings.
This relaxing evening will begin with a gentle yoga practice, easing the body and calming the mind. We will then journey into a deeply restorative sound bath, immersed in the resonant tones of traditional healing instruments. The vibrations will help to release tension, quiet the mind and carry you into a meditative state where you can connect to your inner wisdom.
The evening will draw to a close, as always, with a tasty, homemade snack and drink.
No experience necessary- everybody is welcome.

Rooted is the collaboration of Sarah and Frayah, We came together inspired by a love of nature, sound, movement and tea! Based in the beautiful north Yorkshire we offer our shared knowledge and enthusiasm to provide integrated yoga and sound events.

New Year Yoga and Sound Bath: A Gentle Beginning
Date: 31st January, 2025
Time: 4-6pm
Location: Exhale, Jion Yoga Studios
As the seasons turn, step gently into the New Year, with space for rest and renewal.
A soothing session combining restorative yoga and a deeply relaxing sound bath to help you release the past year and ease softly into the new one.
You will be guided through nurturing yoga, to unwind body and mind, then get cosy and relax as calming sounds ease you into a rested, meditative state.
The evening will draw to a close, as always, with a tasty homemade drink and snack.
No experience necessary- everybody welcome.
